Eligibility Criteria<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A Candidate who has passed the two years Pre-University Examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in the state of Karnataka or any other examination considered as equivalent thereto by Mangalore University is eligible for admission to these programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subjects of Study<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Subjects of study shall comprise the following<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Group \u2013 I : LANGUAGES:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The candidate shall opt for General and Communicative English as compulsory subject and one of the languages listed below:
Kannada, Sanskrit, Hindi<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GROUP \u2013 II : OPTIONAL SUBJECTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A candidate shall ordinarily opt for any three Arts subjects for B.A. degree and any three Science subjects for B.Sc degree subject to existing combinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

i) Arts Subjects: (subject to existing combinations)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Languages: Kannada, English<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compulsory Papers: Kannada Major Paper -1, Kannada Major Paper -2, History Paper -1, History Paper -2<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii) B.C.A. subjects: (Subject to existing combinations)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Languages: Kannada, English<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compulsory Papers: Programming in C, Fundamentals of Computers, Mathematical Foundation, Database Management System, Object Oriented Concepts using Java, Discrete Mathematical Structures, Data Structures using C, C# and DOT NET Framework, Operating Systems Concepts, Python Programming, Computer Multimedia and Animation, Computer Communication and Networks, Internet Technologies, Statistical Computing and R Programming, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Applications, PHP and MySQL, Project Work<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iii) Commerce Subjects:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Languages: Kannada, English<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compulsory Papers : Principles of Management, Economics, Financial Accounting, Business Law, Financial Management, Business Statistics, Banking, Business Taxation, Cost and Management Accounting, Auditing, International Trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Group III:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

i) Skill Enhancement Courses<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artificial Intelligence<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Financial Education and Investment Awareness as a Enhancement Course<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii) Ability Enhancement Compulsory Course<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Environmental Studies<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Constitution of India Syllabus<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

iii) Interdisciplinary Subjects:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
